In the third quarter of 2023, the global venture capital landscape exhibited notable trends that shed light on the state of the industry. Venture funding during this period reached $73 billion, a 11% increase compared to the previous quarter. However, it was down 15% from the remarkable $86 billion invested in Q3 2022 – a residual optimism in Technology from the pandemic era. GMAT/GRE score is a reflection of the school’s selectivity. Among the top 15, Harvard had the highest entry barrier – a median GMAT of 740, followed by Stanford (738) and Haas (733).
SDA Bocconi MBA tuition fee for the academic year 2023-24 is €75,000. After adding the personal expenses and living costs, it sums up to € 1,00,020 for one year. To help the admitted students cover the tuition fees, SDA Bocconi offers 30 partial tuition waivers and 3 full tuition waivers. The total number of enrolled students in the HAAS MBA Class of 2025 is 244, which is lower compared to peer schools Ross and NYU Stern. The high median GMAT score of 733, which, despite being 7 points lower than top MBAs, beats the peer school’s scores. Average GRE scores for Verbal and Quant are 161 and 163, respectively, whereas the average GPA is 3.64, six points lower than the median of the top 3 MBAs.

Total Cost (HEC Paris MBA) (16-Month)
With 42% of the class from an Engineering background and a large percentage (23%) from diverse industries, Tepper MBA is a favorite for engineers and career switchers interested in transitioning from core technology to Consulting, General Management, and Product Management (Industrial).

Haas, with a 733, and NYU Stern, with a 732 GMAT score, have set the bar high for the 2025 entering class. Ross has a more manageable 719 entry criteria and a 3.43 GPA, while Stern and Haas have a strong 3.61 and 3.64 GPA, respectively.
The total Class size of Ross MBA class of 2025 is 379 which despite being less than that of the top 3 MBAs, is the highest among peer schools – NYU Stern and Haas. This can be the result of a lower average GMAT score of 719, 21 points less than that of top MBA programs. Average GRE also remains on the lower side with 162 Quant and 160 verbal.
With a 31% admission rate, NYU Stern admitted 966 students, out of which 327 students were enrolled. Although the enrollment rate remained low, the school’s acceptance rate for the Class of 2025 was high. Even with such a high acceptance rate, the academic requirements, like the average GMAT score, remained at 732, the Average GRE Verbal and Quant was 163 each, and the average GPA was 3.61, higher than Ross MBA’s and slightly lower than Haas’.

Class Profile
The Booth MBA Class of 2025 is characterized by a substantial volume of applications from finance candidates, with a class size of 637 and an acceptance rate of 15%. While 36% of the class is comprised of international students, the representation of women stands at 42%. With an average of 5 years of working experience, the class has strong academic credentials, including an average GPA of 3.6, a median GMAT score of 730, and a respectable average GRE score of 163/162 in the Quantitative and Verbal sections.
MIT MBA Class of 2025 includes 409 candidates with international representation at 40% - 5% above the norm seen in M7 schools and 46% women candidates – a trend that has yet to reach the 50-50 target that schools are aspiring to. The average of 5 years of prior work experience is a standard seen in top schools.
Kellogg MBA Class of 2025 attracted a sizable class, with 529 students. The cohort is notably diverse, with 39% of international students contributing to an international learning environment. Women inched closer to the halfway point, comprising 48% of the class. Academically, the class presents impressive statistics with an average GPA of 3.7 – at par with M7 MBA entry criteria.
