LBS MBA Events - January 2026

In January 2026, London Business School is hosting 7 MBA-related events, including 3 virtual events and 4 in-person events. The month combines online sessions focused on program understanding, personal branding, and application strategy with multiple on-campus opportunities for prospective students to experience the LBS environment firsthand.

Virtual Events

The virtual events begin on 9 January with the MBA Overview, a recurring session led by the LBS Recruitment and Admissions team that introduces the MBA program, admissions process, and concludes with a student-led Q&A. On 13 January, How to Use LinkedIn to Elevate and Amplify Your Personal Brand offers practical guidance from LinkedIn and brand consultant Laura Fox on building a strong professional presence and increasing recruiter visibility. This is followed on 20 January by In Conversation with the MBA Programme Director, a live session covering the MBA 2026 application process, key timelines, expectations for a strong application, and next steps for admitted candidates, with an open Q&A.

As F1GMAT’s Lead Consultant and Essay Specialist, I will help you structure the essay by:

1)  Incorporating your Personal Brand

I will help you find unique life experiences that would differentiate you from the highly competitive LBS MBA Application pool.

2)  Including Storytelling elements

I have developed a keen sense of storytelling from over a decade and a half of editing essays and writing essay examples for F1GMAT’s Essay Guides.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

3) Aligning with the Culture of the School

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school

Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.

If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

I will guide you through the writing process.

I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.

In-Person Events

The in-person events are centered on campus engagement in London. Campus Tours with an MBA Student Ambassador take place on 16 January, 23 January, and 30 January, allowing prospective students to explore student life, facilities, and the broader LBS community through guided tours. In addition, the Degree Programmes Open Evening on 22 January provides an on-campus opportunity to learn about LBS degree offerings, connect with recruitment and admissions teams, and gain a broader perspective on the student experience at London Business School.
