Overview

June 2026 brings 11 Harvard Business School MBA admissions events, spread across an on-campus open house in Boston, a five-city U.S. regional swing (San Diego, Denver, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., and Provo), two Asia-Pacific information sessions (Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City), and three virtual sessions[1]

Eight events are run by HBS Admissions directly, including information sessions, a campus open house, a joint Harvard graduate-school session, an MS/MBA joint-degree briefing, and a short founder conversation; two are Tuck-hosted Top Business Schools panels at peer-school venues; and one is a Chicago Booth-hosted virtual panel.

The HBS MBA application for the Class of 2029 opens in June 2026, with Round 1 scheduled for September 2026 and Round 2 for January 2027[2]. These events give prospective applicants a chance to meet the Admissions team and tour the campus in the weeks before the application goes live.

Unlike the inter-cycle pattern at some peer schools, HBS keeps one on-campus open house on the June calendar (June 26) and runs campus tours and visits through the year rather than only during a fixed visit-day window[3]

In-Person Events

On-Campus:One on-campus event is scheduled in June 2026. The MBA Program Open House on June 26 (1:00 PM to 2:30 PM ET) pairs a campus tour with a full MBA Program information session led by the Admissions team in Boston.

HBS Admissions hosts an information session in San Diego on June 11, a joint Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Law School session in Washington D.C. on June 24, and a session at Brigham Young University in Provo on June 24. The Tuck-hosted Top Business Schools series stops in Denver on June 22 and Salt Lake City on June 23, each featuring HBS and other top business schools on a panel followed by a networking reception.

International:Two Asia-Pacific information sessions are scheduled. HBS Admissions runs an in-person session in Bangkok on June 27 (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM ICT) and in Ho Chi Minh City on June 30 (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM ICT), each covering the MBA Program for prospective applicants in the region.

Notes on the June 2026 Admissions Cycle

• The HBS MBA application for the Class of 2029 (2026-2027 cycle) opens in June 2026, so June events fall just before a live application

• Round 1 is scheduled for September 2026 and Round 2 for January 2027; HBS has not yet published the exact day-level deadlines for the Class of 2029

• For reference, the just-closed Class of 2028 cycle used a Round 1 deadline of September 3, 2025 and a Round 2 deadline of January 5, 2026 (decisions March 25, 2026); the 2+2 deferred deadline was April 22, 2026 (decisions June 25, 2026)

• HBS accepts both the GMAT and GRE with no minimum score and requires a written assessment; the application includes short essays and two recommendations

• Interviews are conducted by invitation only, and HBS does not publish a date by which candidates can expect an invitation

• Three events are multi-school panels (Chicago Booth on June 17, Tuck at Dartmouth on June 22 and 23) in which HBS participates alongside peer schools; these are kept here because they are hosted by partner business schools, not admissions consultancies

• All 11 events listed in this document require advance registration; HBS adds events on a rolling basis, so the schedule reflects the listing as of June 12, 2026
