Harvard Business School (HBS) has 11 MBA admissions events including 2 virtual events, 4 international events, and 2 US events scheduled in May 2026.

Overview

The events are conducted across formats: three on-campus MBA Program Open Houses, two U.S. regional events (Chapel Hill and Chicago, both on May 14), four international events in Europe (Milan, Barcelona, Paris) and Israel (Tel Aviv), and two virtual sessions^[1].

May falls in a transitional window for HBS admissions. Admissions decisions for the Class of 2028 are released on May 14, 2026, and the Class of 2029 application opens in June 2026 ^[2]. In-Person Events

On-Campus: The Harvard MBA Program Open House runs on three Fridays in May (May 8, May 15, and May 22) from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM ET. Each Open House combines a campus tour with a comprehensive MBA Program information session led by the Admissions team^[1].

U.S. Regional: On May 14, HBS appears at two U.S. events. In Chapel Hill, NC, HBS joins admissions leaders from UCLA Anderson, Chicago Booth, Columbia, UVA Darden, Kellogg, MIT Sloan, Stanford GSB, Tuck, and Wharton for a Top Business Schools panel followed by an in-person networking reception. In Chicago, IL, the HBS Admissions team hosts a standalone MBA information session at 6:00 PM CT ^[1] .

International: HBS Information Sessions take place across Europe in mid-May: Milan on May 18 (7:00 PM CET), Barcelona on May 20 (6:30 PM CET), and Paris on May 21 (7:00 PM CET). The month closes with HBS attending the Top MBA Fair in Tel Aviv on May 27, alongside other leading business schools ^[1]. The European sessions are single-school information sessions led by HBS Admissions; the Tel Aviv fair is a multi-school exhibition with school booths and alumni access.

Visitor Center: The MBA Admissions Visitor Center in Hawes Hall opens for the summer visiting season on May 4, 2026 and remains open through August 31, 2026, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ^[3] . Class visits for the 2025-2026 academic year have concluded^[3] .

Virtual Events

Two virtual sessions are scheduled in May 2026. On May 14 at 12:00 PM ET, Entrepreneurial Insights: 20 Minutes with an HBS Founder features a short conversation with Anisha Agarwal (MBA 2026), founder of Lighthouse, on how the HBS MBA shaped her entrepreneurial path^[1] .

On May 15 at 11:00 AM CT, Top Business Schools Present: Trailblazing the Path to Business School (hosted by Chicago Booth) brings HBS together with admissions representatives from other leading programs for a one-hour panel covering the MBA experience and post-MBA pathways ^[1]. This is the virtual counterpart to the in-person Top Business Schools Chapel Hill event on May 14 and is open to applicants outside the Southeast U.S.
