Harvard MBA Events - July 2026

July 2026 is the busiest month on the Harvard Business School MBA admissions calendar. With 29 events spread across three on-campus open houses in Boston and a wide U.S. regional swing (Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington D.C., New York, and Boston), Harvard admissions team is also making four international stops (Seoul, Shanghai, Toronto, and Beirut), and holding nine virtual sessions[1].

Overview

Seventeen events are run by HBS Admissions directly, including the three campus open houses, the Inside HBS virtual series, joint-degree sessions with Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School, international sessions in Seoul, Shanghai, and Beirut, and repeat information sessions in New York; eight are multi-school Top Business Schools panels hosted with peer schools; and four are multi-university deferred-enrollment panels for candidates still in school[1].

The HBS MBA application for the Class of 2029 is now open, having opened in June 2026.

July events let prospective applicants meet the Admissions team, join a joint-degree or MS/MBA session, or tour the campus while the application is live.

Unlike the inter-cycle pattern at some peer schools, HBS keeps on-campus open houses on the July calendar and runs campus tours and visits through the year rather than only during a fixed visit-day window[3].

In-Person Events

On-Campus: Three on-campus open houses are scheduled, on July 17, July 24, and July 31, each from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM ET. Each MBA Program Open House pairs a campus tour with a full MBA Program information session led by the Admissions team in Boston[1].

U.S. Regional: Thirteen U.S. off-campus events run across ten cities. The Top Business Schools series brings HBS and nine peer schools to Chicago (July 13), Minneapolis (July 14), Detroit (July 15), Seattle (July 20), San Francisco (July 21), Los Angeles (July 22), and San Diego (July 23), each a panel followed by a networking reception. HBS also runs two of its own information sessions in New York on July 27 and July 28, and takes part in four multi-university deferred-enrollment panels in Washington D.C. (July 21), New York (July 22), Boston (July 23), and Chicago (July 28) for candidates still in school[1].

International: Four international sessions are scheduled. HBS Admissions runs in-person information sessions in Seoul on July 13 (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM KST) and Shanghai on July 15 (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST), and an in-person alumni panel in Beirut on July 23 (5:00 PM to 6:30 PM EEST). The Top Business Schools series also stops in Toronto on July 16 (6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET)[1].
