Overview

June 2026 falls in the inter-cycle window between two Wharton admissions seasons. Round 3 decisions for the 2025-26 cycle have been released, and the 2026-27 application opens in July 2026 with a Round 1 deadline of September 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET.[2] Candidates mapping Wharton against peer-school deadlines can track every date in the M7 and Top 50 MBA deadlines breakdown. Wharton uses this window to run virtual program overviews, joint-degree sessions for the Lauder and Carey JD/MBA programs, and individual guidance conversations with the admissions team.[1]

The month also opens Wharton's summer "Top Business Schools Present" roadshow, a multi-school series in which Wharton representatives travel with peer-school admissions teams. The June stops cover Denver and Salt Lake City, and the circuit continues through July in Houston, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

In-Person Events

U.S. Regional

Wharton holds 2 in-person events in June 2026, both under the "Top Business Schools Present" banner. The Denver stop on June 22 takes place at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, and the Salt Lake City stop on June 23 takes place at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.

Each reception runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event has both school presentations with open networking time, so that candidates in the Mountain West can compare Wharton against peer programs in a single evening.[1]

Candidates preparing comparison questions for these receptions can start with F1GMAT's Harvard vs Stanford vs Wharton class profile comparison, which contrasts application volume, class size, feeder industries, and test score ranges across the three schools.

No on-campus admissions events appear on the June calendar.

Candidates who want to see Philadelphia in person can book a self-guided campus visit through the Visiting Wharton page, and class visits resume when the academic year restarts in the fall[3]

Virtual Events

6 of the 8 June events are virtual webinars, registered through Wharton's graduate admissions portal or the school's events calendar.[1]

Program Overviews and Application Guidance

The MBA Program Overview and Q&A on June 18 runs from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, a morning slot that serves candidates in European, African, and Asian time zones.

Admissions staff present the Wharton MBA curriculum and the admissions process before taking live questions. Candidates who want to benchmark themselves against the incoming cohort before attending can read F1GMAT's Wharton MBA class profile analysis.

The Personalized Guidance session on June 17, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, gives a smaller group direct access to the admissions team for individual questions about candidacy, test scores, and round selection.[1]

Joint-Degree Sessions: Lauder and JD/MBA

The Lauder Overview Session runs twice, on June 11 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on June 30 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The sessions cover the MBA/MA Joint Degree in International Studies and its language requirement.

The JD/MBA Information Session on June 16, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, covers the three-year Carey JD/MBA program. Both joint-degree programs accept applications in Rounds 1 and 2 only, which makes these June sessions the starting point for candidates targeting the September 8, 2026 deadline.[2]

The program selection step that separates the MBA, JD/MBA, and Lauder tracks appears on the first page of the application itself, and F1GMAT's Wharton MBA application breakdown walks through that form section by section.

Multi-School Panels

Top Business Schools Present: The Value of an MBA, on June 17 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, is the virtual edition of the roadshow. Wharton joins peer business schools on a panel about what a full-time MBA returns in career outcomes and salary growth, a useful single session for candidates still deciding whether to apply this cycle[1]. For the Wharton-specific numbers behind that panel topic, F1GMAT's Wharton MBA salary analysis by industry (2025) documents placement shares and median base salaries for the most recent graduating class.

Notes on the June 2026 Admissions Cycle

• The 2026-27 application opens in July 2026. Round 1 closes on September 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, with interview invitations on October 28, 2026 and decisions on December 17, 2026. Round 2 closes on January 5, 2027, and Round 3 closes on March 31, 2027.[2] Invited candidates face Wharton's team-based discussion format, which F1GMAT covers in its Wharton Team-Based Discussion tips.

• Lauder MBA/MA and Carey JD/MBA applications are accepted in Rounds 1 and 2 only, so the June joint-degree sessions are the earliest preparation point for candidates who must commit to the September or January deadlines.[2]

• The Wharton events page lists event times without a timezone marker. Registrants should confirm the listed time on the individual registration page before adding the event to a calendar.[1]

• The "Top Business Schools Present" roadshow continues past June. July stops include Houston (July 6), Austin (July 7), Dallas (July 8), Chicago (July 13), Minneapolis (July 14), Detroit (July 15), Toronto (July 16), Seattle (July 20), San Francisco (July 21), Los Angeles (July 22), and San Diego (July 23), followed by a virtual application tips session on August 14.[1]

• Wharton-hosted webinars register through the graduate admissions portal at grad-admissions.wharton.upenn.edu, while roadshow stops register through event pages on the Wharton MBA site.[1]

How to Register and Visit

Every event in the schedule table links directly to its registration page. Wharton-hosted webinars use the graduate admissions portal, which asks for a name, an email address, and basic background information before confirming a spot. The multi-school roadshow stops use event detail pages on the Wharton MBA site, and registration for those receptions is shared across the participating schools.[1]

Candidates who want a campus experience outside the event calendar can book through the Visiting Wharton page, which handles self-guided visits to the Philadelphia campus during the summer and class visits once the academic year resumes. Wharton also runs virtual coffee chats, small-group conversations with current students, which are scheduled separately from the admissions events calendar.[3]
