LBS MBA Events - June 2024

London Business School (LBS) has a lineup of 14 events for June 2024, featuring a mix of 9  in-person and 5 virtual sessions aimed at engaging prospective students.

The month starts with an online event, "In Conversation with LBS Student Clubs: Consulting, Finance, Energy & Environment, and Women’s Touch Rugby," on June 6, where participants can hear from club presidents about their experiences. On the same day, LBS will participate in the in-person "Amsterdam MBA Fair 2024," hosted by Ivy Circle in Amsterdam.

LBS MBA Salary 2023 – Consulting Dominates, Technology & Finance Strong

In the three-part series on London Business School MBA Salary, we start with LBS MBA Salary and placement trends by industry. 

Consulting industry with 45% placement, stands out as the most popular industry among LBS MBA graduates of 2023. The hiring rate for the LBS Consulting sector is higher than all the M7 schools, but the mean salary for Consulting roles, $164,728, is $26,000 behind the average of top US MBAs, i.e., $190,000. 

LBS MBA 2025 Class Profile (Analysis)

The LBS Class of 2025 MBA graduates presents a class size of 487. The cohort is both expansive and diverse, representing 63 nationalities. Women constitute a substantial 43% of the class, indicative of a commitment to gender diversity. The academic caliber is underscored by an average GMAT score of 710. Students bring valuable practical insights, boasting an average of 5.5 years of work experience.

Top 15 LBS MBA Scholarships (2023)

The most competitive scholarship with the largest number of awards was the London Business School Fund Scholarships that offered up to £109,700 (Full Tuition Fee). The scholarship chooses candidates for academic excellence (3.5+ GPA and GMAT 700+), professional achievements (top 10 percentile) and potential to be an all-around contributor at London Business School.

Although known as a haven for FinTech professionals, LBS MBA attracted 38% of offers in Consulting, confirming the industry’s dominance in top schools. Interestingly, the entrepreneurial and regulatory ecosystem in London – a factor that made the city a leader in FinTech is also enabling start-ups in adjacent and traditional industries, as evident in the 6% of the LBS MBA students choosing a post-MBA role in Entrepreneurship.
