LBS MBA Salary 2021

Although known as a haven for FinTech professionals, LBS MBA attracted 38% of offers in Consulting, confirming the industry’s dominance in top schools. Interestingly, the entrepreneurial and regulatory ecosystem in London – a factor that made the city a leader in FinTech is also enabling start-ups in adjacent and traditional industries, as evident in the 6% of the LBS MBA students choosing a post-MBA role in Entrepreneurship.

Investment Banking was the beneficiary of the trend (rising by 2%), while Technology jobs fell (-3%) from the limited travel opportunities that were enforced by the Pandemic.

Private Equity offers (total mean salary of $213,322) at LBS MBA also stood out, although it is hard to compare with US schools as the remuneration for top Private Equity schools in the US are in the median while LBS publishes its remuneration in mean.

Investment Management – a dying industry/function among MBA graduates, saw a steady set of offers (4%) behind Harvard (8%) and tied with Columbia, Stanford, Booth, Wharton, and MIT Sloan.
