In the second part of the three-part series of London Business School MBA Salary analysis, we evaluate placements and salary trends by International regions.
The United Kingdom is the most popular destination, attracting 55% of LBS MBA graduates.
With a mean salary of $139,332 and additional compensation averaging $64,105, the more than half of the offers were distributed among Financial Services sectors (PE, VC, IB) in London, as well as Technology (FinTech) and Consulting industries, thriving from serving the government – the biggest employer for Consulting (Management Consulting) industry.
Europe (excluding the UK) captures 8% of graduates, offering a mean salary of $121,023 and additional compensation of $47,988, presumably in the Consumer and Retail industries.
While not as dominant as London, European cities - Frankfurt, Paris, and Zurich remain attractive hubs for Finance placements.

Top 3 International Compensation: Unlike US schools, where Asian placements tend to attract the highest compensation and Latin America offers are the lowest, LBS MBA is an outlier in salary trends where Latin America is in the middle with $208,722 salary, Asia is at the lowest with $200,862 while the Middle East and Africa leads with an impressive $233,890 mean salary.
Another interesting insight is that at LBS MBA, international placements are all above $200,000 with the only exception in the Oceania region with less than $130,000 total mean salary.
Asia – Placements and Mean Salary for LBS MBA
Asia emerges as another key destination, drawing 12% of graduates with an enticing third-highest mean salary of $200,862 and highest additional compensation averaging $160,159.
LBS offers one of the highest salaries in Asian regions for post-MBA graduates. The rapid economic growth in cities like Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai has fueled demand for MBA talent across various sectors, including Finance, Technology, and emerging industries.
Africa and the Middle East – Placements and Mean Salary for LBS MBA
Africa/Middle East captures 7% of graduates, offering an impressive highest mean salary of $233,890 and additional compensation averaging $143,398. Cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi serve as regional business hubs, attracting MBA graduates with opportunities in Energy and Infrastructure.
North America – Placement Trends and Salary for LBS MBA
North America, comprising primarily the United States, attracts 10% of graduates, offering a mean salary of $166,757 and additional compensation averaging $62,565. The mean vs. median gap makes it a challenge to compare the median base salary with the total mean salary, but an LBS MBA would fall somewhere between 10-15 ranked US school for a similar compensation.
Latin America – Placement Trends and Salary for LBS MBA
Latin America, including the Caribbean, captures 7% of graduates, offering a mean salary of $208,722 and additional compensation averaging $129,000. Emerging markets in cities like Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires present unique opportunities in Finance, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship.
