Are we your first choice?
Business schools know that you have applied to at least four other schools. What they don’t want to hear is that, they are the last school that you have picked. As you might have read in Why MBA from our Business school, each business school has a unique learning environment.
Unique Learning environment
Find out the unique learning environment of each school. You can figure that out by reading the ‘About Us’ or ‘Why <business school name>’ or 'What we offer' section. Do not restate the content in the section but write down your own perspective on why the business school is different.
Goal Alignment
The alignment of your goals, with the learning environment and culture of the business school is crucial in the selection process. You should be able to convince the admission officer that the business school would be the right tool to fulfill your dreams.
For example:
“I believe that an MBA from your school, when combined with my experience, will provide the right skills and knowledge necessary to pursue my short and long-term goals in management consulting, entrepreneurship, and new venture creation”
This statement is one of the most clichéd one used in business school essays. This should be your conclusion. Your argument should convince this statement.

50% case studies or 75% cases studies- which one is more suited for your

- Student exchange program
Will student exchange programs help you in understanding other cultures and
be useful in fulfilling your goal?
