Yale MBA Application Deadlines (2026 Entering Class)

Yale School of Management (SOM) has a three-round admissions process for its MBA program. Candidates can apply directly to Yale SOM or through The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management or QuestBridge Graduate School Match, depending on their eligibility. While applying early ensures an earlier decision, Yale SOM advises applicants to submit when their application is strongest.

Application Deadlines

Candidates who apply in Round 1 will have nearly four months before results are announced, while Round 3 applicants will have just over a month before decisions are released. Applying earlier ensures faster feedback, but Yale SOM evaluates applications equally across all rounds.

Final Decision Release Dates

Round 1 applicants will know their results before the end of the year, allowing them ample time to plan financials and relocation. Round 3 applicants, however, will receive decisions in mid-May, giving them only a few months before the program starts.

Alternative Application Routes: The Consortium & QuestBridge

Yale SOM also accepts applications through:

•    The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management: For underrepresented minorities and those committed to advancing diversity in business.

•    QuestBridge Graduate School Match: Designed for QuestBridge Scholars interested in business education.
Candidates eligible for these programs should consider applying through them, as they provide additional resources and potential financial support.
