Cornell MBA Events - June 2025

In June 2025, Cornell Johnson will host a total of 2 MBA events, comprising 1 virtual event and 1 in-person event.

Virtual Chats

The virtual event is an Ask Me Anything with the Association of Veterans (AoV), scheduled for June 27. This informal session invites prospective students to engage directly with current student veterans at Cornell Johnson. Attendees will gain insights into student life, the Johnson community, and the unique value of the MBA program from a veteran’s perspective.

Cornell MBA Events - September 2024

In September 2024, Cornell MBA will host a total of 11 events, including 3 virtual and 8 in-person sessions.

Virtual Events

The virtual events include the 2YR MBA – IMBA Virtual Fair on September 18th, where prospective students can connect with admissions officers, alumni, and current students from top MBA programs. 

On September 25th, the Virtual Forté MBA Forum will offer an opportunity for students to network with admissions representatives and hear from successful MBA women. 

Cornell MBA Events - August 2024

In August 2024, the Cornell MBA program features a diverse range of events, totaling 17, including 15 in-person and 2 virtual sessions. 

The month kicks off with the "SEED Business School Festival" in Hyderabad on August 1 and in Bangalore on August 3. Both events will allow prospective students to interact with representatives from top North American business schools, ask questions about their MBA programs and admission processes, and potentially win a fully sponsored 3-day trip to their dream business school.

In July 2024, Cornell Johnson School of Management has scheduled eight of events to engage with prospective MBA students. These events include a mix of 7 in-person gatherings and 1 virtual session, to learn about the MBA program, connect with admissions representatives, and gain insights into the application process.

Cornell MBA Total Cost and Funding Tips

The total cost of the Cornell MBA Program for two years is $222,872, whereas the first year cost is $111,436. 

Total Cost (Cornell MBA) (1 Year)

The student activity fee, health cost, and administrative fee for the two-year MBA in Ithaca are among the required payments for the first year of the student's MBA program.

The total cost for one year, i.e., $111,436, covers Tuition ($83,106), Student Activity Fee ($110), Housing and Food ($19,428), Books and Supplies ($2,650), Health Fees ($550), Miscellaneous ($2,398) and Transportation ($3,194).

Cornell MBA Events - June 2024

Cornell Johnson's MBA program have just 3 events for the month of June 2024, out of which two events are virtual whereas one is in-person.

The month starts with a virtual MBA Spotlight Fair on June 11, hosted by the GMAT Club, providing a platform for interactive discussions with admission representatives from top business schools, including Cornell Johnson.

In the fourth and final part of the Cornell MBA Salary Series for the 2023 graduating class, we cover top Employers recruiting at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. 

The Cornell MBA Class of 2023 comprises of top 15 employers for full-time positions. The list comprises Consulting giants like Bain & Company, BCG, Deloitte, Altman Solon, McKinsey, and Strategy&, highlighting the program's strength in preparing graduates for roles in strategy and management consulting.

The Cornell MBA Class of 2023 exhibits a strong focus on North America, with an impressive 95% of graduates securing employment within the region, 1% lower than the previous year. The remaining 5% are distributed globally, reflecting the program's international reach with a competitive $125,000 median base salary. 

Cornell MBA Salary 2023 - By Function

In the second part of the Cornell MBA Series for the 2023 graduating class, we cover MBA Functions.

The Cornell MBA Class of 2023 employment report reveals Consulting as a dominant function, with an impressive 40% of graduates securing positions in this field. The class also demonstrates a significant presence in Finance and Investment Banking, with over a third of graduates, 26% and 12%, respectively, finding roles in these sectors.

Cornell MBA Salary 2023

For Cornell’s 2-year MBA 2023 graduating class, out of the 306 graduates, 285 sought full-time employment, and the class exhibited a high job placement rate, with 94% securing positions within three months of graduation. 

Notable variations were observed in the offer rates based on work authorization, with 97% for those with US authorization and 88% for those without accepting the offers in 3 months.

Johnson at Cornell University MBA Admission interviews are by invitation only. The admission team provide a variety of interview options namely campus visits, alumni interview in your country and Skype interviews.

Cornell MBA Employment Report
Cornell Johnson MBA Employment report has been released. The mean salary for 2-Year MBA program in 2012 was $106,100 whereas 1-Year MBA program led students to earn $113,720. Interestingly, the mean sign-in bonus for 1-year MBAs was $19,620, six thousand dollars less than what was offered to 2-year MBAs.

The Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund, Inc., an affiliate of the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of New York State, Inc. Applicants must be permanent residents of New York State and meet other qualifications.

The International Fellowships Program provides support for up to three years of formal graduate-level study. Fellows will be selected from countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Russia, where the Ford Foundation maintains active overseas programs. U.S. nationals are not eligible, although Fellows may study in the United States.
