INSEAD MBA Deadlines (2025)

INSEAD operates a staged admissions process with four application rounds for each intake (January and August).

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis within each round, meaning some candidates may receive decisions earlier than the official deadlines. While competition remains equal across rounds, applying earlier provides more time to secure financing and arrange logistics.

In this INSEAD MBA Application Deadlines dates and timeline analysis, we cover:

August 2025 Intake - Application Deadlines

Applicants targeting the August 2025 intake must submit their completed applications by 23:59 CET (French Time) on the specified deadlines.

INSEAD's August 2025 intake has four rounds, with the first deadline on September 10, 2024, and the final deadline on March 4, 2025. The earlier a candidate applies, the more time they have for post-admission preparations.

Candidates applying in Round 1 and Round 2 will have nearly nine to ten months before the program starts, allowing them ample time for financial and logistical planning. Round 4 applicants, however, will have just four months before the program begins in August.

Applicants will be informed if they have been shortlisted for an interview approximately one month after the application deadline. The first interview invitations for this intake will be sent on October 11, 2024, while the final round of interview invitations will go out on April 4, 2025.

Since the interview stage is highly competitive, receiving an invitation is a strong indicator of a candidate’s potential for admission.

Round 1 and Round 2 applicants will have at least six months to plan their transition to the program, while Round 4 admits will have a shorter window of three months before classes begin in August.

January 2026 Intake

Application Deadline

The January 2026 intake follows the same four-round structure, with the first deadline on March 11, 2025, and the final deadline on August 5, 2025. Applying in earlier rounds provides a longer runway for visa applications and financial planning.

Round 4 applicants will have less than five months before the program starts in January, making it critical to have financing and visa plans ready.
