The growth in his outlook and professional experience encouraged the applicant to start a non-profit in his village to inspire others who are currently in a disadvantaged position. By bringing in other Financial professionals who had similar or worst experience as guest speakers, the applicant changes the dynamics of the non-profit and gives the children an excuse to dream big.

The plan to create a mentor network with just 30 minutes of a professional’s time every day is an idea that the applicant wants to develop in the communities of Durham and help children who are in a disadvantaged position.

Starting my year-long training for Y in their leadership rotational program exposed me to the scale of accounting in a multi-billion-dollar company. I learned to adapt my communication style according to the personality of the Manager and created a comprehensive report that helped the management plan better and allocate $2B for FY 2016-17.

In 6 months, I was promoted, managed the digitization of the accounting systems, and recently offered advisory in accounting laws for the $12B M&A deal. It gave me the confidence to start a career counseling non-profit ...
