1. I made many friends while playing doubles in badminton. The high-pressure scenarios and communicating subtly and openly while tweaking the strategy with a partner are a quintessential team bonding exercise.
2. My friends and family find great relief in sharing their secrets and vulnerabilities with me. If I had not pursued a Data Science role, I would be a great therapist!
3. Conversations of people from different ages - when mixed with culture, background, history, and geographies unveil unique stories. I had journaled every interesting conversation around me from Age 12. They are funny, insightful, and sad at the same time.
4. I have started using the word “Let’s see” more often. The phrase gives me a stoic disregard for setbacks and unending optimism for the future.
5. I became the first female member of my middle school taekwondo team and won the provincial-level competition. The mental and physical agility the sports developed has given me a can-do attitude to any challenges.
6. My passion for Math went beyond the classroom. Siblings of my friends were willing to pay their pocket money to learn about the shortcuts that I employed to learn and understand complex math concepts.
