2022 UCLA Anderson MBA Salary - By US Regions & International Locations

In the third part of the four-part series, we cover UCLA Anderson MBA placements and salary by US regions. The international placements are non-existent as most who are targeting UCLA Anderson intend to work in California post-MBA.

UCLA Anderson MBA Salary and Employment Statistics: By Region

97.8% of the total placements in the UCLA Anderson MBA program 2022 were in the US, and only 2.2% were placed globally. 

California emerges as the powerhouse for UCLA Anderson placements, with an overwhelming 73.60% of graduates securing positions within the state. Not only does California boast the highest hiring rate, but it also offers the second-highest median base salary of $150,000 with a $30,000 signing bonus.

The West, excluding California, captures the second position in terms of hiring rate (9.50%). The region stands out for its substantial signing bonus of $45,000, signaling competitive compensation packages for those seeking roles in the broader Western region.

The Northeast follows closely, representing 5.50% of hires, with the highest median base salary of $160,000 and a $40,000 signing bonus, in alignment with the compensation in New York for Finance and Consulting industries.

While California, the West, and the Northeast lead in hiring rates, the Midwest, with 2.60% of placements and a $130,000 median base salary was below the threshold for the region, compensated by an impressive $40,000 signing bonus.
