History of the fund: The Goldman Sachs MBA Fellowship was established in 1997. The award honors the candidate’s accomplishment and takes into consideration the Goldman Sach principles they embodied while achieving the goals.
The Fellowship will be awarded in addition to the summer associate pay. The recipients of the Fellowship will also receive any eligible full-time Associate signing bonus on completing a summer internship and accepting a full-time offer.

Summer Analyst Internship: The summer analyst internship is typically taken during the second or final year of study. The position is open to candidates pursuing a college or university degree. Programs range from eight to eleven weeks and fully immerse students in one of the Goldman Sachs divisions' daily operations.
Summer Associate Internship: The summer associate internship is typically taken during the second or final year of study and is for candidates who are pursuing an advanced degree, such as an MD, MBA, JD, or LLM. This is a ten-week program with actual duties to give students an idea of what they would do daily as full-time employees of Goldman Sachs.
New Analyst: The new analyst program is appropriate for those with little to no working experience and is open to final-year recent graduates from any field of study and undergraduate/graduate students. Students will discover a lot about the company and how it operates as new analysts. In close collaboration with the firm's experts, students will work directly with internal and external clients.
Other Internships (New Associate): Most new associates have between two and five years of professional experience in addition to a graduate degree, such as an MBA, JD, Ph.D., MD, or LLM. As new associates, students will connect closely with senior professionals and clients while developing product-specific expertise. Goldman Sachs' distinctive internship programs give 'excellent company exposure. Many companies and areas offer three, six, and twelve-month internships throughout the academic year. The firm also provides one- and two-week programs over college and university spring breaks in the Americas and Europe.
