In July 2025, Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) is hosting a total of 38 MBA events, comprising 6 virtual events and 32 in-person events held across various cities around the world. These events aim to provide prospective applicants with insights into the Stanford MBA experience, admissions process, student community, and deferred enrollment options.
Virtual Events
The virtual events begin with the Women in Business webinar on July 1, where students and alumnae share their experiences at Stanford GSB. On July 8, the Financial Aid at the GSB session offers an overview of fellowships and funding opportunities.
A panel on International Students and Alumni is scheduled for July 10, followed by a general MBA Information Session on July 17.
On July 12, the Meet an MBA Alum session allows prospects to hear personal stories and application advice.
Rounding out the month are two interactive sessions: Ask an MBA Admissions Officer on July 29, and participation in the broader MBA Tour San Francisco on the same date.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.
3) Aligning with the Culture of the School
A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
I will guide you through the writing process.
I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
In-Person Events
The in-person events cover a wide geographic spread and offer diverse formats including info sessions, workshops, multi-school panels, and networking events.
The Top Business Schools Present series takes place in Lagos (July 2–3), Nairobi (July 5), Johannesburg (July 8), Austin (July 9), Dallas (July 10), San Diego (July 15), Seattle (July 16), Portland (July 17), and Chicago (July 24).
Stanford also hosts several MBA Information Sessions across cities including New York, Boston, Taipei, Manila, Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City. These sessions often include alumni panels, admissions presentations, and Q&A.
Specialized Application Workshops for candidates planning to apply in the next one to two years will be held on-campus at Stanford on July 12 and July 26, as well as in Raleigh-Durham (July 21), Salt Lake City (July 28), and Phoenix (July 29).
Additionally, Insight into Deferred Enrollment MBA Programs panels will be conducted in New York City, Boston, and Chicago, offering guidance for early-career applicants.
