Stanford MBA Class of 2024 - Analysis (Peer School Comparison)

Of the 6152 applications received, 424 new students were accepted into the MBA Class of 2024 at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Although the class of 2024's average GMAT score is an impressive 737, the Stanford MBA program does not set a minimum score requirement for applicants. The GMAT score range was between 630 and 790. The incoming Stanford MBA Class of 2024 had average GRE scores of 163 for Quantitative and 164 for Verbal.

Fifty-six nations represent the 37% of students whose primary citizenship is outside America. Women comprise approximately 44% of the class.

Stanford MBA Class of 2024 - By Pre-MBA Undergraduate Degree

The class of this year has graduated from 162 academic institutions. 13% are graduate-level students. Engineering was the undergraduate major of 24%, followed by economics at 21%. Business was the major of 5% of students, and social sciences constituted 19%. 9% have degrees in Science or Math.

The latest Stanford MBA graduates averaged nearly five years of professional experience when they enrolled. 20% of the class had worked in consulting, and the remaining 20% had investment management, private equity, or venture capital backgrounds. 15% of the students were from the technology industry. 4% of the class are veterans, 3% have worked in manufacturing, and 8% have previously worked in government, education, or charitable organizations.
