I started F1GMAT in 2009 after a year and a half of scavenging forums and realizing that applicants were wasting time scrolling through hundreds of posts. Although I got admitted to an MBA program specializing in Entrepreneurship, I chose to start F1GMAT instead.
I hosted consultants, GMAT prep companies and schools to share about the application process and the program. Soon, I realized that there is a big incentive problem when you are a platform and views/reads are the primary focus and not the focus on helping the applicant.
I began helping applicants through M7 school applications and when a client shared a heartfelt thank you note, I knew that F1GMAT could serve a more meaningful purpose by directly helping applicants.
I pivoted to turning F1GMAT from a platform to an admissions consulting company.
My primary focus as an editor, consultant, and writer is to share research insights (in-depth with F1GMAT Premium), top MBA/Master’s analysis, and admission advice (essay writing tips, recommendation letter guidelines, interview preparation tips, and GMAT tutorials) to help applicants make the right $250,000 decision for an MBA and $150,000 decision for a Master’s program.
If you want to go beyond the research (M7 and T20 MBA Programs) and premium (F1GMAT premium) and into personalized feedback on planning your career, choosing the best MBA or Master's program, and developing a foolproof admission strategy, Subscribe to F1GMAT’s Career Planning Service.
