Merit-Based scholarships

Fact: No formal application process for merit-based scholarships. All applicants considered after selection.

Criteria

1) Academic Excellence 
2) Work experience 
3) Service to the community. 

Amount: Merit-Based Scholarships range from $10,000 to $30,000 per year, and are renewable for the two years that Chicago Booth students are enrolled in the Full-Time MBA program.

Chicago Booth Fellowships

A) The Dennis W. and Jane B. Carlton Fellowship  

No of Awards: Three 
Award: Full tuition for two years and a $15,000 stipend each year

Criteria:

1) Preference for candidates who have served in the Israeli military. 
2) Those accepting this fellowship are expected to reside in Israel within five years of graduation.

B) The Distinguished Fellows Program 

Amount: Full tuition scholarship for two years + a $20,000 stipend each year. 

Criteria:

1) Potential to make a positive difference throughout their careers. 

C) The Enid Fogel Diversity Fellowship 

Amount:  $50,000 in tuition

Criteria:

1) Students who embody Enid's values by advancing the interests of underrepresented populations including African-Americans, Hispanics and women.

D) Forté Foundation Fellowship

Criteria

1) Exhibit exemplary academic, team, community, and/or creative leadership 
2) Committed to advancing the interests of women in business.

E) The David W. Fox Fellowship

Amount: Full tuition for two years 

No of Awards: 1 student 

Criteria:

1) Students who has served or is currently serving in the United States military. 
2) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic, and extracurricular achievements 
3) Commitment to advancing the interests of those having served in the military.

F) The Nelson Germanos Fellowship
 
Amount: $20,000 per year for two years  

No of Awards: 1 student 

Criteria

1) Demonstrate multinational, multicultural life focus, an interest in sharing knowledge generously as well as broadly and very high ethical standards. 
Note: Preference for students from Brazil.

G) The Harper Fellowships 

Amount: $25,000 in tuition per year for two years. 

Criteria

1) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic and extracurricular achievements.

H) The Herman Family Fellowship 

Amount: $50,000

Criteria

1)    Advance the interests of women in entrepreneurship 

I) The India Trust Fellowship 

Amount: $10,000 tuition award

Number of Awards: 2

Criteria:

1) Students who had lived and worked in India at the time of admission to the Full-Time MBA Program 
2) Committed to advancing the interests of women in business. 
3) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic and extracurricular achievements.

J) The James M. Kilts Marketing Fellowship  

Number of Awards: 5-8 

Amount: $25,000 in tuition per year for two years

Criteria: 

1) Career in Marketing and who plan to concentrate in Marketing Management. 

K) The O'Brien Fellowship 

Amount: $25,000 tuition award  

No of Awards: one student for their first year of study. 

Criteria:

1) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic and extracurricular achievements.

L) The Polsky Fellowship 

Criteria

1) Demonstrate entrepreneurial interests 
2) Commitment to advancing the interests of Ukraine (particularly those who have graduated from the Kiev Polytechnic Institute)

Amount: $20,000 in tuition per year for two years.

M) The Vasey Fellowship 

Amount: $25,000 in tuition per year for two years 

Criteria

1) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic, and extracurricular achievements 
2) Commitment to advancing the interests of Hispanics in business.

N) The Wallman Fellowship  

Amount: Full tuition for two years 

Criteria:

1) Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic and extracurricular achievements 
2) Commitment to advancing the interests of African-Americans, Hispanics and women in business.

O) The Zonis Fellowship 

Amount: $25,000 in tuition 

Number of Awards:

Criteria:

1)    International student from an emerging economy 
2)    Demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic and extracurricular achievements.

Corporate Fellowships

A) The Robert W. Baird Fellowship 

Amount: $25,000 per year, for two years, for a total award of $50,000.

Criteria:

1)    Candidates pursuing a career in Finance 
2)    Committed to advancing the interests of women in business.

B) Accretive Health Fellowship

Amount: $25,000 per year, for two years, for a total award of $50,000.

Number of Awards: 1

Criteria:

1)    Candidates pursuing a career in Healthcare 
2)    Demonstrates a commitment to advancing the interests of women in business.

C) Canfield Private Equity Fellowship 

Amount: $25,000 per year, for two years, for a total award of $50,000.

Number of Awards:

Criteria:

1)    Students who have prior Investment Banking or Private Equity experience 
2)    Students who are pursuing a career in Private Equity 
3)    Demonstrate leadership potential, and past academic achievement. 

D) Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Bank Fellowship 

Amount: Full-tuition scholarships each year 

Number of Awards:

Criteria

1) Students from Africa, South Asia and countries with emerging economies. 
Note: Preference for students who intend to pursue careers in the financial services sector.
2)    Demonstrate a commitment to the development of emerging markets.
