Financial Times Business School Ranking (Check out FT MBA Ranking 2012) for the year 2010-11 has been announced. London business school has retained the top spot for the third consecutive year. A common trend seen in this year’s rankings has been the rise of European Business Schools and a few top notch Asian Business Schools in the rankings. Hong Kong UST Business School has gained four positions and is at number six in the global ranking.The biggest surprise has been the rise of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), (which was not featured in the 2010 rankings) at Number 11 position in the Global Rankings.
Other Business Schools that saw a dramatic improvement in rankings include HEC Paris, Haas School of Business, Manchester Business School, Cass Business School
and Mays Business School
Stanford University GSB (Get Stanford MBA Essay Guide or Stanford MBA Interview Guide) again topped the Average Salary ($) ranking at $183,260 per annum, while a new entrant in the rankings Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) has taken the second spot with an average salary of 174,440($).

ISB has retained the top spot in % increase in salary with 187% followed by CEIBS at 155% and the new entrant Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) at third position with 152% increase in salary.
With economies steadily recovering, most Business Schools have gained fair bit of position in the percentage employed within 3 months list. Students from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia gaining 100 % employment, Birmingham Business School, U.K gaining 97% employment and Indian School of Business gaining 96% employment within 3 months of graduation.
