Booth MBA Civic Scholars Program – Full Tuition Waiver for Non-Profit and Government Candidates

The Neubauer Civic Scholar program offers full-tuition scholarships for all MBA students – full-time, Executive, and Weekend MBA, working in a non-profit (501(c) designated) or with the government.

Candidates accepted as a Neubauer Civic Scholar will get the opportunity to build a cohort that will receive guidance from dedicated faculty directors and interact with industry leaders working in the social IMPACT domain.

Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation at Chicago Booth is the primary vehicle by which the cohort learns the fundamentals of business to supplement initiatives in the social sector.

Current Scholars are working on Elder Care, Sustainable Housing, reducing Inequality, building an Inclusive Democracy, School Outcomes, Rural America, and Justice Reform, to name a few.

Amount: Partial or full-tuition award (Covering 100% of Tuition)

Conditions

3 Years Post-MBA: To receive a full tuition scholarship Civic Scholars should sign a promissory note for the loan that involves working with a non-profit  (501(c) designated) or public sector or the government for a minimum of 3 years post-graduation

Switch Between Three and Repay If: Candidates are allowed to switch between the three - non-profit, public sector and the government, but if they choose to work with a for-profit organization within 3 years of graduating, they would be required to repay the loan.
