In August 2025, Yale SOM will host a total of 21 MBA-related events, comprising 14 virtual events and 7 in-person events.
Virtual Events
Virtual events will cover application workshops, Q&A sessions, office hours, and student-led discussions.
Application Workshops will be held on August 11 (United States and Canada), August 13 (China), August 14 (India), August 20 (Middle East), August 26 (Latin America), and August 27 (United States and Canada), offering targeted guidance for Round 1 applicants from each region.
Admissions Q&A sessions will be conducted on August 14, 19, 21, and 26, with an additional Silver Scholars-specific Q&A on August 25, providing opportunities to have queries answered directly by the admissions team.
Office Hours with Bruce DelMonico will take place on August 12 and August 28, offering an overview of the Yale MBA program, admissions process, and student life.
Student Conversations with current MBA students will be held on August 20 to provide first-hand insights into the Yale SOM experience.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.
3) Aligning with the Culture of the School
A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
I will guide you through the writing process.
I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
In-Person Events
In-person events will include coffee chats and social gatherings in multiple cities, as well as a campus visit.
Coffee Breaks with the Admissions Committee are scheduled for August 11 in Atlanta, August 13 in Houston, August 18 in Los Angeles, and August 21 in Chicago, offering informal discussions about the MBA program and application process.

Essay 3: Describe the most significant challenge you have faced. How have you confronted this challenge and how has it shaped you as a person?
Summer Social gatherings hosted by alumni will be held on August 13 in Bangalore and August 14 in Toronto, providing networking opportunities and insights into the Yale SOM community.
On August 22, participants can attend the Yale SOM Campus Visit in New Haven, which includes a tour of Evans Hall and on-site discussions with admissions officers.
