In August 2024, the UCLA Anderson MBA program is hosting a total of 24 events, with 23 in-person and 1 virtual sessions.
Virtual Events
The month begins with a virtual event titled "Top Business Schools Discuss: Diversity & Inclusion" on August 7. This session, hosted by Chicago Booth and attended by several top MBA programs, will provide insights into the diversity and inclusion efforts across these institutions and offer prospective students a glimpse into the experiences of current students.
In-Person MBA Chats
A series of in-person "MBA Chats" with UCLA Anderson Admissions will take place in Washington, D.C., on August 12, offering one-on-one conversations about the UCLA Anderson MBA program and the admissions process. On August 14, a similar session will be held in Chicago, where attendees can discuss the full-time MBA program's admissions process, student life, and career opportunities.
Women MBA Applicants
The "Forté Forum" series will be held in several cities: Washington, D.C. (August 12), Chicago (August 13), Atlanta (August 14), Boston (August 15), Los Angeles (August 19), Seattle (August 21), San Francisco (August 22), Toronto (August 26), New York City (August 27-28), and Dallas (August 29). These forums aim to empower women at all career stages, offering networking opportunities, insights from successful MBA alumnae, and connections with admissions representatives from top business schools.
Campus Visits
On August 20, the "Authentically Anderson: Campus Visit" event will take place at the UCLA Anderson campus, offering prospective students the opportunity to participate in class visits, group information sessions, and interactions with professors, admissions staff, and current students.
In-Person International Events
Additionally, in-person "Access MBA" events will be hosted in Seoul (August 22), Tokyo (August 24), Beijing (August 27), Shanghai (August 29), and Hong Kong (August 31), where prospective applicants can meet admissions directors from top-ranked business schools through individual meetings.
Other notable in-person events include "The MBA Tour" in Toronto (August 24) and Vancouver (August 29), where prospective students can connect with admission representatives from top MBA programs and learn more about their offerings.
