Most of the scholarships offered at Oxford MBA is to cover the tuition fee with the living expense covered in certain scholarships, ranging in amount from £8,000 to £29,106
Only Linbury Scholarships, The Skoll Scholarships, and the Weidenfeld-Hoffman Scholarships and Leadership Programme have the traditional - essays, and interview.
All other Scholarships are considered based on the candidate's profile.
GMAT and Academic Criteria
For a realistic shot at the merit-based scholarships, the applicants should have a strong academic record (GPA 3.5+ or 85%+) in undergraduate or score an excellent GMAT or GRE Score. The median GMAT score for the latest class was 690. A 730+ GMAT score is considered excellent.
Scholarships based on nationality is the most popular category of awards for Oxford MBA with Africa, Angola, China, USA, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand among the beneficiaries. On total value and number of scholarships, EY Scholarships for Angolans is a clear winner with the fund covering tuition fees, living expense and two-way fight for 7 candidates. Chinese applicants should avail the Oxford Ideality Scholarship valued at £30,000 but be prepared to compete as the scholarship is only for 1 candidate from the Country.
Oxford MBA encourages applicants from Arts and Culture through the Linbury Scholarships with a generous £55,000 scholarship for 3 candidates.
Oxford MBA class is no stranger when it comes to accepting candidates from non-profit. In fact, 13% of the class – the highest recorded among top MBA programs come from the non-profit/public sector. To encourage candidates from non-profit to continue on the path through Entrepreneurship, The Skoll Scholarships are granted to 5 Oxford MBA candidates with each Entrepreneur earning full-tuition and a stipend of £8,000.
The Weidenfeld-Hoffman Scholarships and Leadership Programme is the only scholarship that evaluates the candidate's leadership skills in social, economic and political context. The winner of the scholarship is announced by the End of May, after interviews in March. The amount covers Full-tuition and a living expenses of 14,533.
