In November 2025, Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) is hosting a total of 39 events, including 24 virtual events and 15 in-person events, offering prospective students numerous opportunities to engage with admissions officers, current students, and alumni. These sessions provide valuable insights into the MBA experience, the admissions process, and the diverse professional pathways that Stanford GSB supports.
Virtual Events
The virtual events begin with the GSB Veterans Club – Applicant Webinar on 4 and 5 November, where current students share advice on crafting strong applications and navigating the admissions journey.
The recurring Meet an MBA Student sessions on 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 November allow attendees to have informal, small-group conversations with current MBA students to learn about life and academics at Stanford.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.
3) Aligning with the Culture of the School
A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
I will guide you through the writing process.
I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
The Global Community series runs throughout the month, featuring region-specific sessions focused on Asia (4 November), Europe (12 November), Africa (13 November), Latin America (19 November), and MENA (24 November), each connecting prospective students with alumni and students from those regions.
Other themed virtual sessions include the Deferred Enrollment Information Session on 5 November, Your Career in Consumer Products & Services on 6 November, Your Career: Military Perspectives on 10 November, Your Career in Healthcare on 18 November, and Your Career in Energy, Cleantech, and Sustainability on 20 November, all moderated by admissions officers.
Additional highlights include Meet an MBA Alum events on 8 and 29 November, offering direct alumni insights, and the Top Business Schools Present: Military in Business virtual session on 18 November, which brings together representatives from multiple leading business schools.
In-Person Events
The in-person events are equally diverse, beginning with the MBA/MSx Information Session in New York on 6 November, where attendees can compare Stanford’s two leadership programs through alumni discussions and admissions Q&A. From 7 to 8 November, Meet an Admissions Officer coffee chats will take place across New York City neighborhoods, Chelsea, Morningside Heights, Midtown, and SoHo, providing casual, small-group discussions with admissions officers.
The MBA Campus Visit Days on 7, 10, 14, 17, and 21 November invite prospective students to the Stanford campus to attend a live class, tour facilities, and connect with current students. The school also joins multi-school events like Top Business Schools Present sessions in Miami (11 November) and Charlotte (12 November), and Insight into Deferred Enrollment MBA Programs in Los Angeles (12 November) and Berkeley (13 November), allowing attendees to network with admissions teams from top global institutions. Additionally, a Meet an Admissions Officer coffee chat will be held in Miami on 10 November, providing further opportunity for personalized discussions.
