Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) has planned a total of 18 MBA events for February 2025, including 14 virtual events and 4 in-person events.
Virtual Events
The virtual events feature multiple opportunities for prospective applicants to "Meet an MBA Student" on February 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27. During these sessions, participants can interact with alumni to learn about their MBA journey and the application process.
On February 13, an MBA Information Session hosted by an admissions officer will cover the program, admissions, and financial aid with a Q&A segment. Additionally, the MBA Student Experience: Life at the GSB on February 25 will feature a panel discussion with current MBA students, moderated by an admissions officer, providing insights into academics, community life, and campus engagement.

With the word limit typically in the 250 to 500 range, it is not easy to structure the essay without losing momentum.

Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

For in-person events, the MBA Campus Visit Day will be held on February 3 and 7, offering an immersive experience at Stanford, including campus tours, student interactions, and class visits.
On February 8 and 9, prospective students can Meet an MBA Admissions Officer in Boston to gain insights from alumni.
