Stanford GSB will host 21 MBA events in April 2025, including 5 in-person and 16 virtual events.
Virtual Events
Virtual events include "Meet an MBA Student" on April 8, 9, 16, 17, 23, 24, 29, and 30, where applicants can connect with GSB students to hear about their experiences. The month concludes with the "MBA Information Session" on April 29, where an admissions officer will cover program details, admissions, and financial aid.

With the word limit typically in the 250 to 500 range, it is not easy to structure the essay without losing momentum.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

In-Person Events
"Meet an MBA Student – Women's Perspective" will take place on April 15 and 22, focusing on resources and opportunities for women in business.
"Meet an MBA Alum" will be held on April 5 and 19, providing insights from alumni about the MBA journey.
"Meet Stanford GSB" sessions on April 4 and 18 will explore different aspects of the MBA experience, including global study trips and the Center for Social Impact. Additionally, the "MBA Student Experience: Life at the GSB" panel on April 10 will feature current students discussing campus life.
