The Class of 2023 has 304 students in Cornell MBA Program, whereas 398 students in Ross MBA Program. Ross MBA has enrolled more students than the Cornell MBA program despite having high GMAT and GRE scores entry criteria. The average GMAT score at Cornell was 710, whereas at Ross, it was 722. Similarly, the full-time work experiences at both schools were the same at five years. Bloomberg BusinessWeek MBA Ranking has placed the Ross MBA program at the 13th position, whereas the Cornell MBA program at the 20th position. In Financial Times, Ross was ranked 24th, and the Cornell MBA program ranked 17th. The 2023 Best Business Schools ranking has placed the Ross MBA program at 10th position, whereas the Cornell MBA program at 15th position. This entire ranking shows that, except for Financial Times, all the other sources have put Ross ahead of the Cornell MBA program. When you compare the ranking factors, FT has a high focus on the increase in Salary. If immediate ROI is your biggest concern, Cornell is the right program for you. For networking opportunities and mid-term impact, Ross has a wider networking option.

Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is located in Ithaca, New York (NY). In contrast, Stephen M. Ross School of Business is located at 701 Tappan Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan (MI).

Ann Arbor is at the Washtenaw County in Michigan, United States, whereas Ithaca is a city in New York's Finger Lakes region.

Ross is located on the University of Michigan's main campus, where students have access to the resources of a world-class research university. Ann Arbor has over 120,000 residents, world-class research facilities, and innovative startups, but the Fortune 500 corporations around the region are limited.

In the case of Cornell, the campus brings together Ithaca, NY residents, NYC executives, and diverse management students from across the country and around the world. Cornell has two campus buildings, one on the main campus and one in Collegetown.
