Scholarship for incoming first-year admitted students
HARVEY BEKER SCHOLARSHIP
Number of Awards: 2
The application consists of an essay and one page resume. The essay should be no
longer than two pages, double-spaced, and should answer the following questions:
1) Why would you like to be considered for the scholarship?
2) How have you helped others succeed through your contributions?
3) How do you intend to contribute to Stern as an alumnus/a?
4) How will you enable future students to excel at Stern?
HESS FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP

Q) Their reasons for pursuing an energy industry career, their interest in pursuing a career in energy at Hess, and examples of how they have demonstrated leadership, customer focus and/or innovation in their past work or school experiences

- Merit-based scholarships are only applicable to tuition charges.
- Thirty percent of all full-time block students receive some kind of merit-based scholarship.
- Students in the Langone Program for Working Professionals are not eligible for merit-based admissions scholarships.

- Interest in a career in the energy industry.
- Should have an undergraduate degree in the fields of engineering or business administration with preferred concentrations in marketing or accounting/finance
- Three to five years prior work experience.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in the energy industry is preferred.
