In January 2025, NYU Stern will host 23 events, including 7 virtual, 7 On-Campus, and 9 in-person sessions, offering prospective MBA students multiple opportunities to engage with the school.
Virtual Events
The Virtual Ask a Sternie series, led by current students, will provide insight into student life and allow for Q&A in small group formats. These sessions will be held on January 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22. Additionally, a Virtual Information Session on January 15 will cover details about the MBA program, admissions, and career resources.
Essay Editing - Work with Atul Jose (Founding Consultant and Essay Specialist)
With the word limit typically in the 250 to 500 range, it is not easy to structure the essay without losing momentum.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

Campus Events
On-campus events include the Stern MBA Visit: Information Session, Tour, and Q&A, which offers guided tours and insights into the community and career services. These sessions will take place on January 6, 9, 13, 16, 21, 23, and 27.
In-Person Events
The Current Student Coffee Chats provide in-person opportunities to meet with students across various cities, fostering deeper connections and a better understanding of Stern's MBA experience.
Chats will be held in Mumbai (January 2 and 4), São Paulo (January 5 and 15), San Francisco (January 10), Mexico City (January 12), Seattle (January 15), Cupertino (January 24), and Manila (January 20).
