In August 2025, NYU Stern will host a total of 16 MBA events, including 3 virtual sessions and 13 in-person engagements across multiple global cities.
Virtual Events
The virtual events are designed to give prospective students an inside look at the Stern MBA experience from anywhere in the world. That same day, the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Prospective MBA Admissions Summit (see ROMBA fellowship) will connect attendees to admissions officers and over 60 MBA programmes, highlighting Stern’s involvement in the global LGBTQ+ MBA Fellowship network.
On August 21, the Mock Application Workshop with Stern’s Admissions Committee will provide candidates with valuable guidance on how applications are reviewed and tips for strengthening their submissions.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.
3) Aligning with the Culture of the School
A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
I will guide you through the writing process.
I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
In-Person Events
The in-person events provide prospective students with numerous opportunities to meet Stern’s admissions leadership, current students, and alumni in different parts of the world. Coffee Chats, informal conversations with admissions directors or current students, will take place in San Francisco with Lindsay Loyd (August 19), Chicago with Erica Hartsfield (August 21), Seattle with Lindsay Loyd (August 21), Toronto with Adam Smith (August 26), and with current students in New Delhi (August 22).
