What is the K.C Mahindra Scholarship for Indian Post-Graduate Applicants

Since 1953, the K.C Mahindra Education Trust has disbursed $119.8 million in scholarships, grants, and loans. The fund is targeted for Indian applicants planning to study abroad for post-graduate studies.

Among the three products, the interest free loan has been disbursed by the trust since 1956. The application can be submitted in parallel to school application. Once the admission status is updated, the applicant is required to update the trust about the admit and submit the required document (acceptance letter) for the same.

No of Awards: Minimum 3

Amount: 5 lakh to multiple recipients and INR 10 lakh to three Fellows

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must be:

•    Citizen of India
•    First Class degree or an equivalent diploma holder from a recognized university
•    At least final year degree/diploma holder

The program should begin by August and no later than February

Required Documents

The applicants must provide:
•    Copy of acceptance letter
•    Letter of Recommendation (from Company or the Institute on a letterhead. The recommender’s valid email must be provided in the document)
•    SOP (Statement of Purpose): Covering goals, interests and aptitude for the program
•    Copy of GRE/GMAT Score: Master’s Program
•    Copy of IELTS/TOEFL Score (Other post-graduate degrees)
•    One scanned copy of 10th & 12th mark sheets
•    Copy of the Passport
•    Applicant’s latest Resume
