The offers in Finance (median base salary $150,000) are way behind the leaders – Chicago Booth and NYU Stern ($175,000). With total median salaries in Finance touching the quarter-million mark, it is fair to say that Haas's competitive advantage has shifted to producing MBAs for the Technology and Consulting industries.

Haas MBA Top Employers (2021)

Haas did not reveal the numbers behind each of the hiring firms, other than the fact that they hired more than 3 graduates each. However, we can speculate that McKinsey and Amazon were at least in the top 5 employer list given the heavy number of hires in Technology and Consulting by industry and function.

The Technology, Consulting, and Finance trio trend couldn’t be replicated at Haas as Finance firms didn’t feature in the top Employer list to the same extent as other M7 schools.
