First Year Fellowships

Amount: Various amounts

Criteria

1) Merit-based
2) Overall strength of their application for admission.

P.S:

1) Awards are made for a two year time frame.
2) No separate application is necessary.
3) Announcement of the awards is made by the UCLA Anderson Admissions / Financial Aid Office shortly after notification of admission to the MBA program

Second Year Fellowships

No of Awards: Limited

Criteria

1) Merit-based fellowships
2) First year grades during the "core courses"
3) Student's involvement in the UCLA Anderson community.

P.S : Applications are available in the beginning of Winter quarter of the student's first year.

Outside Fellowships

Amount: Limited
For assistance visit UCLA's Graduate Division's Academic Support and Information Services Office located in 1252 Murphy Hall.

Grants: UCLA Anderson grant funding may be offered, depending on availability of funds and timing of the FAFSA application.

Loans for International Students(Private Student Loan's)

Case 1: You do have a social security number and you have a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident co-borrower:

Case 2: You do not have a social security number, but you do have a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident co-borrower.

1) Go to www.studentloan.com
2) Click on "Apply for a Loan" then go to CitiAssist Graduate Loan

Case 3: You have a social security number, but do not have a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident co-borrower or You do not have a social security number and you do not have a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident co-borrower :

Additional forms necessary for loan approval:

   1. Copy of form I-20 or IAP-66 with supporting documentation
   2. Copy of J-1 or H-1 visa or copy of form I-94

Loan Terms

1) Amount requested cannot exceed the cost of education for one academic year
$62,353 for entering international students and $59,853 for continuing international students

2) The above mentioned amounts are subject to change

Interest Rates

1) Interest rates varies based on the amount borrowed
2) Interest begins accruing as soon as the first check is disbursed
3) The full amount of the loan is disbursed in three equal payments for fall, winter and spring quarters.
4) Principal and interest payments are deferred while you are in school.

Repayment Options

1) Repayment terms will be established based on a 15 to 20 year repayment term.
2) There is a six month grace period before the loan goes into repayment.
