In May 2025, the University of Virginia Darden School of Business is organizing a total of 14 MBA events, including 7 virtual sessions and 7 in-person events.
Virtual Events
The Full-Time MBA Virtual Coffee Chat, led by the assistant director of admissions, provides applicants an opportunity to learn more about Darden’s program and admissions process in an informal setting. This session will be held on May 2 and May 16.
A Women's Virtual Coffee Chat with Graduate Women in Business (GWIB) will also take place on May 2, specifically tailored for women applicants.
On the same day, Darden will host its Virtual Military to MBA Visit Day, a special session designed for prospective students with military backgrounds, featuring discussions with the Darden Military Association, admissions guidance, and a faculty fireside chat.
Another military-focused session, the Full-Time MBA Military Virtual Coffee Chat, will occur on May 19, offering additional interaction with the admissions team and AdCom Military Liaison.
Darden will also participate in the Clear Admit MBA Application Overview on May 20, a panel where representatives from top schools provide application tips and insights.

In-Person Events
Among the in-person events, the Friday Chat and Tour series allows prospective students to visit Darden's Charlottesville campus for small group discussions with admissions committee member Merav Frazier and a campus tour. These sessions will be held on May 2, 9, 16, and 30.
Darden will also host an MBA Coffee Chat in San Francisco on May 12, where attendees can meet the Director of Admissions and explore Darden’s case method and curriculum. Additionally, Darden will be part of The MBA Connection, a collaborative admissions event with six other top MBA programs, scheduled in San Francisco on May 13 and in New York City on May 20, offering applicants a unique chance to connect with multiple schools in one setting.
