BusinessWeek(BW) has released its 2010 rankings for the Best U.S and International Business Schools. The rankings were based on the data collected from over 17000 MBA graduates and over 500 corporate recruiters. BW used numerous quality factors including the quality of career services, teaching and the perceived quality of the MBA programs among the recruiters to create this comprehensive list.

How BusinessWeek ranked Business Schools
1. BW sent a 50-question survey to 17,941 MBA graduates from the Class of 2010 at 101 schools in North America, Europe, and Asia.
2. Received 9,827 responses for a response rate of 55 percent.
3. All 101 schools provided contact information(e-mail) for graduates or distributed surveys on BW's behalf.
4. The survey asks graduates to rate the programs on a scale of 1 to 10 on the following criteria:
a) Teaching quality
b) Effectiveness of career services
c) Overall b-school experience
d) The opinion of The Class of 2010 accounted for 50% of each school's Total Student satisfaction(TSS). 2008 Survey and 2006 survey accounted for the other 50%.
5. David M. Rindskopf and Alan L. Gross, professors of educational psychology at City University of New York Graduate Center analyzed the data from the surveys to ensure that the response followed data integrity.
6. The second stage surveyed 514 corporate MBA recruiters and received 215 responses on the perceived quality of MBA graduates and company's experience with MBAs .
