Courses Offered

LUMS excels in developing individual and organisational potential through MBA programmes, executive education and high quality business research. LUMS understanding of how managers and leaders learn is at the core of all our work. It has underpinned our work on MBA programmes and with many leading global companies. Its distinctive Full-time MBA (FTMBA) and Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes help high-performing managers to develop into leaders who are confident, knowledgeable, critical and responsible in facing the challenges of an increasingly complex international world of business.

Full-time Programme

This is an intensive twelve-month programme for managers who want to accelerate their career development. Students are part of an internationally diverse class, drawn from many different business sectors. They acquire knowledge, understanding and skills about business and the power to manage. This learning is tested in three action-based consultancy challenges that build leadership and management skills, and an international module that introduces them to global business cultures.

Right from the first day of the programme LUMS MBA balance academic learning and personal and professional development through our Mindful Manager thread. This explores what management is really about and packs in lots of personal development opportunities based on experiential learning. We use the academic learning on the programme as the basis for helping students to learn how to manage themselves and how to work in teams.

Part-time Programme

An innovative and highly effective approach to management education, this modular programme is designed to match the lifestyle of busy executives and their employers’ needs. Undertaken over a 24-month period, this unique programme brings employer, participant and faculty together in a close partnership designed to deliver maximum benefits to both individual and organisation.Through work-based assignments which address ‘live’ organisational issues students gain a more holistic and strategic understanding of their organisation to improve their ability to take on new and more senior responsibilities.
