I don't really know whether MBA degree guarantees you success in business. I know a lot of people who are entrepreneurs by nature and they never attended a single business class. But they are twice older than me and keep on running their businesses effectively due to experience and insight.

For me, the biggest impact of this program came from projects for real companies and institutions. We travelled to various regions in Russia, India and the US. We dived into unfamiliar industries and regions, and that forced us to mobilise our skills in short time period. During the 2 months that were devoted to every project, we absorbed huge amount of information and took fast decisions. This is how Business works in reality.
To my understanding, Entrepreneurs are different from normal people due to the fact that they have vision and restless persistence to convert their vision into reality.
In one of the projects, I chose waste management as a field of my professional interest and I'm still passionate about this topic. I believe an entrepreneur should definitely enjoy what he or she is doing. It SHOULD be about money but not just about money. It should benefit the community and bring personal satisfaction. Otherwise, at least for me, there is no reason to be an entrepreneur.
We could see the results of SKOLKOVO MBA experience in a few years - it's a long term investment. For now, I'm happy that I'm focused on what I want to do and had the persistence to proceed.
