In September 2025, Wharton will host a total of 17 MBA events, including 3 virtual sessions and 14 in-person events across different cities and on campus.
In-Person Visit
The in-person events include a series of coffee chats with Lauder Institute leaders. Marcy Bevan will host sessions in London on September 15, 16, and 17, while Colleen France will meet students in Washington D.C.(September 22), Philadelphia (September 23), and New York City (September 25).
The Campus Visit Program will take place in Philadelphia on September 22, 25, 26, and 27, offering campus tours, panel discussions, and class visits, with an option to attend a Lauder MBA/MA information session. Wharton representatives will also join Access MBA events on September 22, 23, and 25, providing personalized admissions insights. Additionally, Wharton on Tap on September 26 will give prospective students a chance to connect informally with a senior admissions officer during an in-person happy hour.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

Essay 1: Two short-form questions
What is your immediate post-MBA professional goal? (50 words)
What are your career goals for the first three to five years after completing your MBA, and how will those build towards your long-term professional goals? (150 words)
Essay 2: Long-form essay: Taking into consideration your background – personal, professional, and/or academic – how do you plan to add meaningful value to the Wharton community? (350 words)
On September 24, the Student-led Wharton MBA Overview Webinar will offer an insider’s perspective from current MBA students on academics, student life, careers, and leadership opportunities.
Finally, on September 28, the Moelis Advance Access Information Session will introduce Wharton’s deferred enrollment program, featuring insights from Moelis Fellows and MBA students on academics, careers, and student experiences.
