The in-person events span multiple cities and formats. The Top Business Schools Present series will bring Wharton to multi-school events in Austin (July 9), Dallas (July 10), San Diego (July 15), Seattle (July 16), Portland (July 17), and San Francisco (July 29), providing opportunities to meet representatives and learn from panel discussions.

Wharton is also part of The MBA Tour in Philadelphia (July 15), Atlanta (July 22), Houston (July 24), San Francisco (July 29), Los Angeles (July 31), where prospective students can interact directly with admissions staff from top business schools.

Meanwhile, Insight into Deferred Enrollment MBA Programs will be hosted in-person in New York City (July 22), Boston (July 23), and Chicago (July 24), focusing on early-career applicants exploring deferred pathways.

Additionally, Wharton offers several city-specific events featuring alumni panels and networking sessions, taking place in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York on various dates.

Notably, Colleen France from the Lauder Institute will host in-person chats in Philadelphia (July 14), Boston (July 24), and San Francisco (July 30) to discuss Wharton’s joint-degree MBA/MA program.

Overall, Wharton’s extensive July calendar ensures prospective students have abundant opportunities, whether virtually or in person, to explore the MBA program, receive application guidance, and connect with the broader Wharton community.

The skills that a writer/editor brings to the table are different from what a former admissions officer or a consultant who has limited writing skills brings

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

3) Aligning with the Culture of the School

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school

Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.

If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

I will guide you through the writing process.

I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
