Atul Jose (MBA Admissions Consultant, F1GMAT): Tuck School has an interesting application quirk. They used to have an application-initiated interview where applicants could initiate the interview instead of a standard submission of essays, shortlisted for interview, and finally appear for the interview session with the admissions team or an alumnus or a panel of alumni and current students.
Tuck has taken a step further and created a unique incentive for early applicants - submit by the 1st of September for Round 1 or the 1st of December for Round 2, including essays, recommendation letters and test score, and you will be guaranteed an interview invite.
