Tuck MBA Events - October 2024

In October 2024, the Tuck MBA program offers a total of 31 events, including 7 virtual events and 22 in-person events. 

Access MBA Tour – South America

The Access MBA Tour, which connects candidates with admissions directors through one-on-one meetings, will take place on October 10 in Monterrey, October 12 in Mexico City, October 17 in Bogota, October 19 in Lima, October 22 in Santiago, October 24 in Buenos Aires, and October 27 in Sao Paulo.

For the 2025 Entering Class, Tuck MBA has three essays. The first Essay is a Why MBA and Why Tuck Essay, the 2nd Essay is about the applicant’s individuality, and the third is about empathy, encouragement, and collaboration that creates a sense of inclusion for someone.

South America – Tuck Coffee Chats

Similarly, Tuck will host Coffee Chats in various cities, where prospective students can meet Tuck Admissions Representatives in an informal setting to discuss the application process. These chats will occur on October 11 in Mexico City and Vancouver, October 17 in Philadelphia and Bogota, October 19 and October 20 in Lima, October 22 in Santiago, October 24 in Buenos Aires, and October 26 and October 27 in Sao Paulo.

South America – Happy Hour Events

There are multiple opportunities to attend the Discover Tuck Happy Hour event, which offers prospective and admitted students a chance to meet the Executive Director of Admissions in an informal setting. These events will take place in Mexico City on October 12, Oxon Hill, MD on October 18, Lima on October 19, and Sao Paulo on October 26.

Virtual Events

Tuck will also be hosting Virtual Conversations with Admissions, giving candidates a chance to ask questions about the application process on October 14, October 15, October 22, October 28, October 29, and October 31. 

Tuck Pride Events

Additionally, there is a Virtual AMA with Tuck Pride on October 15, where prospective students can learn about life at Tuck and the LGBTQ+ community in celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month.

Campus Visits

For those interested in visiting the Tuck campus, campus visits are available on October 14, October 21, and October 28. Prospective students can request a personalized tour.

Essay 1: Why are you pursuing an MBA and why now? How will the distinct Tuck MBA contribute to achieving your goals and aspirations? What particular aspects of Tuck will be instrumental in your growth? (300 words)

Essay 2: Tell us who you are. How have your values and experiences shaped your identity and character? How will your unique background contribute to Tuck and/or enhance the experience of your classmates? (300 words).

Essay 3: Describe a time when you meaningfully invested in someone else’s success without immediate benefit to yourself. What motivated you, and what was the impact? (300 words).
