Tuck MBA Events - July 2024

Tuck School of Business has an exciting lineup of 14 events for prospective MBA students in July 2024. These events are designed to offer opportunities for candidates to interact with admissions representatives, gain insights into the application process, and explore the Tuck MBA program. These events include 8 virtual and 6 in-person events.

Virtual Sessions – Q&A

Kicking off the month, the "Conversation with Tuck Admissions" virtual sessions will be held on July 10, 15, 16, 23, and 30. These sessions provide prospective candidates the chance to join the Tuck MBA admission team for a Q&A, addressing any doubts regarding the application process.

Hanover – Campus Visit

On July 12, the "Tuck Summer Visit Day" invites prospective students for an in-person experience at the Tuck campus. Attendees can tour the campus, interact with current students and alumni, have lunch with the Career Services Team, and engage in conversations with Tuck admissions.

New York, DC and San Francisco

For those in New York City and Washington D.C., the "Top MBAs" in-person events on July 17 and 18, respectively, will be hosted by top business schools. These gatherings allow prospective students to connect directly with admission representatives from various MBA programs.

San Francisco will host several in-person events on July 26 and 27. Prospective students can meet with the Tuck Admission Representative for a "Tuck Coffee Chat," discussing the Tuck MBA application process and program overview. Additionally, on July 26, the "Discover Tuck Happy Hour" allows both admitted and prospective students to join the Executive Director of Admission and Financial Aid over light snacks to discuss Tuck MBA opportunities and the admission process.

Military Applicants – Virtual Session

On July 23, Tuck offers a specialized virtual session, the "Tuck Admissions Workshop for Military Applicants." This session provides a detailed admission overview specifically tailored for military personnel.

Women Applicants

Lastly, on July 30, the "Top Business Schools Discuss: Women in Business" virtual session, hosted by Chicago Booth, will feature representatives from several top MBA programs. This event provides prospective students with insights into the MBA programs and the experiences of female students within those programs.

Tuck MBA Essay Guide

Essay 1: Why are you pursuing an MBA and why now? How will the distinct Tuck MBA contribute to achieving your goals and aspirations? What particular aspects of Tuck will be instrumental in your growth? (300 words)

Essay 2: Tell us who you are. How have your values and experiences shaped your identity and character? How will your unique background contribute to Tuck and/or enhance the experience of your classmates? (300 words).

Essay 3: Describe a time when you meaningfully invested in someone else’s success without immediate benefit to yourself. What motivated you, and what was the impact? (300 words).
