In August 2024, NYU Stern is hosting a diverse range of events for prospective MBA students, totaling 41 events. Out of these, 25 are in-person, 5 are On-Campus, and 11 are virtual.
In-Person Events
The month begins with several in-person coffee chats and tours, including a Stern Visit Information Session, Tour, and Q&A on August 12, 20, 22, and 26, offering a comprehensive look at the Stern experience.
The Forté MBA Forum will be held in various cities: New York City (August 27 and 28), Dallas (August 29), Seattle (August 21), Toronto (August 26), and Los Angeles (August 19). These forums are designed to empower women across different career stages, providing networking opportunities and insights from successful alumnae.
MBA Tours
Additionally, there are multiple MBA Tours in Latin America, including Bogota and Mexico City on August 15 and Lima on August 13. Coffee chats with MBA Admissions staff are scheduled in several cities, including New Delhi (August 25), Lima (August 13), and Chicago (August 14), among others.
On-Campus Events
On-campus events include several Stern Visit Information Sessions, Tours, and Q&As on August 12, 20, 22, and 26. These sessions provide prospective students with a comprehensive look at the Stern experience, including a tour of the facilities and insights into the vibrant community and extensive career resources.
Virtual Events
Virtual events include the "Ask a Sternie" series on August 14, 21, 28, and 29, where current students share their experiences, and several Mock Application Workshops led by the Stern Admissions Committee on August 15, 20, 26, and 27, offering insights into crafting competitive applications. The "Virtual Consortium MAPS" session on August 15 and the "NYU Stern and the Philippines: Virtual Panel" on August 26 will also provide valuable information about the admissions process and the international community at Stern.
