The Harvard MBA program has a total of 25 events scheduled for October 2024, including 13 virtual and 12 in-person events.
These events span a variety of formats, from class visits and open houses to information sessions and virtual discussions.
Campus Visit
The "MBA Class Visit" on October 1st and 4th offers a firsthand experience of Harvard's academic environment and vibrant community through in-person visits, where participants will attend a class, engage with current students, and explore the campus. Additionally, the "MBA Program Open House" will be held on October 4th, 10th, 18th, and 21st, giving attendees a tour of the campus along with a discussion on the MBA program.
Africa and South America
For international events, the Harvard MBA Information Session will take place on October 1st in Johannesburg, October 2nd in Mexico City, and October 3rd in Dar es Salaam, where prospective applicants can learn about the MBA program and meet local alumni.
Virtual Events
Several virtual sessions will also be available, including “Applying to HBS: Who Are We Looking For?” on October 7th and “Top Business Schools Discuss: The Value of an MBA with Alumni” on October 8th, offering insights into HBS admissions and the value of an MBA degree.
Virtual events begin on October 2nd with Entrepreneurial Insights: 20 Minutes with Rachel Blank (MBA 2018) and the MBA + Master's Tour Europe.
On October 7th, the session Applying to HBS: Who Are We Looking For? offers insights into the qualities HBS values in applicants.
Other virtual sessions include Breaking Down the Written Application on October 8th, Navigating Joint Degree Applications on October 9th, and 2+2 Program Information Session also on October 9th.
Re-applicants
For re-applicants, the Applying to HBS: Reapplying with Confidence session on October 11th provides guidance on navigating the reapplication process.
Other notable virtual events include Life at HBS Chat with Current Students on October 15th and Admissions Overview and Q&A on October 22nd.
In addition, the MBA + Master's Tour Latin America will be held virtually on October 23rd, while several "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) events such as 2+2 Alum Insights: AMA Edition on October 23rd and Ask Away: Q&A with HBS Students on October 29th, allow prospective students to connect directly with HBS students and alumni.
