Manchester Business School(MBS) launched its new Global Careers Service (GCS) in Dubai for its current MBA students - stretched over 100 countries. The launch was conducted in Dubai's Middle East International Executive Centre. GCS will offer face-to-face coaching, workshops and career guidance for all MBS MBA students. Earlier GCS was exclusively provided for the full-time MBA students. GCS was launched with the support of Bayt.com in a workshop conducted for MBS MBA students, MBS alumni and HR professionals.
GCS will allow MBA students to successfully negotiate the tough market conditions and enable them to network more effectively. Since the competition for management positions are high, GCS would help students define a clear value proposition, develop an effective marketing plan and provide the necessary skills required for negotiating a competitive salary packages. Manchester Business School plans to expand the GCS to over nine international executive centers by the end of 2010.
