In July 2024, the Darden School of Business is hosting a diverse array of 34 events to engage prospective MBA students.
These events, including 16 virtual and 18 in-person, are designed to provide insights into the Darden MBA program and its application process.
Virtual Coffee Chats
The month kicks off on July 9 with three Virtual Coffee Chats, including a Diversity-focused session and another with Senior Assistant Dean of Admissions Dawna Clarke, offering prospective students an opportunity to learn about the program directly from admissions representatives. On the same day, the MBA Essay Insight Webinar by Clear Admit will provide valuable tips on crafting top MBA essays.
Other notable virtual events include Application Tips on July 11 and a session with Professor Michael Ho on July 12.
Additional Virtual Coffee Chats are scheduled throughout the month, including sessions on July 10, 11, 17, 22, 24, and 31, providing ongoing opportunities for prospective students to connect with Darden admissions representatives.

Accra and Nairobi – In-Person Events
Darden and Stanford will co-host several In-Person Information Sessions in Accra, Ghana, on July 10 and 11, giving attendees a chance to hear from African students about their experiences. Additional sessions will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, on July 12 and 13, and in Nairobi, Kenya, on July 15.
Women Applicants
On July 22 and 24, there will be Women's and Diversity-focused Coffee Chats, respectively.
MBA Tour - San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, New York City, Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston and Chicago
The MBA Tour Events offer numerous opportunities for in-person interactions. These will occur in San Francisco on July 13, Los Angeles on July 14, Houston on July 16, New York City on July 17, Atlanta on July 18, Washington DC on July 20, Boston on July 25, and Chicago on July 30.
