Columbia MBA Events - September 2024

In September 2024, Columbia Business School is hosting 17 events, including 8 virtual and 9 in-person events.

Virtual Events

The month begins with two virtual events on September 4th: the "Engagement & Inclusion Virtual Small Group Conversation," where prospective students can engage with Columbia's admissions team to learn about application processes and inclusion initiatives. 

On September 5th, the "Virtual Forté MBA Forum," connects attendees with admissions representatives and successful MBA women, and the " Round 1 Application Workshop," an in-person event with Assistant Dean of Admissions, Tricia Baione '09, providing application tips.

On September 6th, "Women of CBS: Admissions Roundtable" offers an online session aimed at women and allies to discuss the MBA application process, while the "CBS Experience: Student Chat with Retail & Luxury Goods Club" allows participants to interact with current club members. The "Three-Year JD/MBA Early Decision Information Session" on September 12th provides virtual insights into the JD/MBA program.

In-Person Events

In-person events include the "MBA Campus Visit" on September 9th, where prospective students can tour the Columbia campus and meet with admissions staff. 

On September 10th, there are two events in Houston: the "Houston Small Group Conversation," a breakfast discussion with an admissions associate, and the "Consortium MBA Application Preparation Seminar" (MAPS), offering tips on the admissions process and Consortium benefits. The month continues with "Diversity Matters" on September 14th, featuring student insights and networking opportunities.

Other in-person events include "Top MBAs: Atlanta" on September 19th, "Consortium MBA Application Preparation Seminars" in Washington DC on September 21st, San Francisco on September 24th, and Los Angeles on September 26th, all providing valuable information on admissions and Consortium membership.
