Chicago Booth MBA Events - October 2025

In October 2025, Chicago Booth is hosting 7 MBA events, including 4 virtual events and 3 in-person events. 

Virtual Events

The virtual events provide prospective students with opportunities to interact with admissions directors and gain insights into Booth’s programs and the MBA application process. These include Zoom In On Booth (14 October), UChicago JD/MBA Information Session (21 October), Top Business Schools Present: The Value of an MBA (22 October), and the Clear Admit Event: Exploring Top Great Lakes MBA Programs (30 October). Through these virtual sessions, attendees can learn about the Full-Time and JD/MBA programs, explore application guidance, and participate in Q&A sessions to clarify program details and career outcomes.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school

Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant. 

If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

In-Person Events

The in-person events are designed for networking and firsthand engagement with the Booth community. The Chicago Booth MBA Mixers are scheduled for 7 October in Seattle, 8 October in San Francisco, and 15 October in New York City. These mixers offer prospective students an informal environment to connect with admissions staff and alumni over refreshments, gaining insights into Booth’s Full-Time, Evening, Weekend, and Executive MBA programs, as well as the school’s curriculum, community, and unique approach to business education.
