In August 2025, Chicago Booth will host 22 MBA events, comprising 12 virtual sessions and 10 in-person events.
Virtual Events
The virtual events include several recurring formats and program-specific sessions.
The “Ask Me Anything: Q&A with Admissions” series, held on August 7, 18, 20, and 22, offers 30-minute small-group conversations with an admissions team member for candid insights into the Booth MBA experience.
The “Zoom In On Booth” sessions provide focused program information, with August 13 dedicated to answering frequently asked questions, August 25 covering application tips and The Chicago Approach, and August 28 featuring alumni sharing career outcomes.
Booth will also host multiple Joint Degree Information Sessions, including the MBA/MS in Biomedical Sciences (August 11), JD/MBA (August 12), MBA/MS in Applied Data Science (August 13), and MBA/MPCS (August 14), each outlining program structure, eligibility, and admissions details.
Other virtual highlights include “Top Business Schools Present: Application Tips” (August 8), where Booth joins peer institutions to discuss MBA value and application advice.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
